National Naval Aviation Museum Aircrew Wings Project
The result of the efforts the VSA have led to the installation of our Naval Aircrewman Wings to both placards. This is a legacy effort for ALL past and present Naval Aircrewman. The Viking SENSO's are just the ones who get to make it happen. The Museum has been open since 1962 and our aircrew wings have been missing this entire time of 64 years. We will dedicate the Naval Aircrewman Wings. during Reunion 3 in Pensacola, FL
Legacy Memorials and Outreach
National Naval Aviation Museum Plaque Project
Your generosity absolutely floors us! When we launched the campaign to secure our place at the National Naval Aviation Museum, we knew this community was dedicated—but hitting our $10,000 goal in just 48 hours is nothing short of legendary.
The speed at which we smashed this goal is a testament to the strength of the Viking SENSO Association.
Because of your contributions, we are moving forward full-throttle to solidify our place in history with a Large Legacy Wall Plaque dedication in Pensacola during our reunion next April.
2025 Mount Soledad Project
During the Reunion in San Diego, there was a ceremony at the Mount Soledad National Veterans Memorial during which we unveiled a granite plaque forever commemorating the Viking SENSO and the critical part we played in the defense of our nation during the Cold War years.
